Remembering The Language of The Body

This played in 3D last night at the Vogue Theatre as part of the Sackville Film Society lineup and flat-out blew my mind.

What was it that made me lose it? Was it the dancing itself, the tone and surprises that wiggled out laughs, the masterful weaving of pieces one into the other, or the personal narrative through which we got to know Pina, the true, the inside of the choreographer who’s soul and imagination lived in the body of her dancers? It was all of these and much, much more. Digestion might take awhile. Good job SFS.
